You want a little background on my professional life;

I have a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Auckland. After finishing University I moved into Operations Management as an Inventory Manager.

My journey in Finance and Insurance started when I moved into Account Management within the Insurance and Finance industry at Medical Assurance Society. This financial services company provided a large range of Finance such as Mortgage, Equipment, Vehicle and Personal finance. It also had a large range of Insurance and Investment products.

Next I took on Account Management role with a Business Finance company providing Factoring and Invoice Discounting finance. I was involved in the whole process, from lead generation, to credit application, processing funding and finally settling.

Factoring showed me I had much to learn when it came to business finance so I looked to move to an organisation that would provide extra training opportunities. So I moved into a Assistant Relationship Manager role at the National Bank of New Zealand in the Auckland Corporate and Commercial Business. I worked within the Commercial department, this part of the bank deals with clients with total lending of between $2 Million and $50 Million. Being an ARM allowed me to tackle reasonably complex lending structures and assist the Relationship Managers with increasing sales by identifying opportunities while speaking to customers.

After leaving the National Bank I travelled around Australia for the rest of 2009 while studying extramurally through Massey University. By the end of 2010 I will have successfully completed a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, endorsed in Personal Financial Planning.

Returning to New Zealand in 2010 I joined the team at Aspire Mortgage and Insurance Brokers as a Broker. I am able to offer advice on Mortgage and Insurance products, we are able to arrange Finance or Insurance protection for anyone in New Zealand.
