This post is the first real one for 2010, I have been absent but I am back so lets get cracking!

I thought I would update you on what 2010 has in store for me. As you may recall I spent most of last year travelling around Australia with my fiancee after leaving my job with the Bank. In this post from when we were starting our travels I said “My plan as it stands at this juncture is to do something that works for me rather than working for something”

2010 is the year that I will start out on this journey.

We have returned to New Zealand to get married, for her to start a new job and me to start a new business.

What am I doing?

I am following in the footsteps of my father and becoming a Mortgage and Finance Broker with Aspire Brokers.

This is something that I have been working towards while travelling by studying at Massey University. I have been working on obtaining a Graduate Diploma in Business Studies, endorsed in Personal Financial Planning. I have two subjects to finish  there and then I will also be undertaking the Graduate Diploma in Business Studies endorsed in Personal Risk Management to gain a Chartered Life Underwriter qualification.

So what’s next?
